wedding at weycroft

Steeped in history, Weycroft Hall stands on the site of a fortified Roman Camp. Its previous owners can be traced back to 1050 including Sir Thomas Bennet, Lord Mayor of London in 1603. More recently Weycroft has been placed in trust for the furtherance of Christian work and it’s on this basis that the TASK Centre occupies the site to establish and develop the property as a unique resource and training centre.

The main building boasts a large baronial hall with seating up to 100 peolple providing an ideal setting for conferences, teaching seminars, workshops, musical concerts and other special events including weddings.

The main house also has a lounge which can be hired as a smaller meeting room accommodating up to 25 people.

Accomodation is available for residential breaks. The main house can sleep up to 31 people with a further 27 in the adjoining barn. A range of presentation equipment is available including public address, multi media projector, flip charts and overhead projection.

Alongside the main house is the Venture room, a multipurpose building equipped with its own kitchen facilities suitable for self catering groups, separate seminars or as a recreational facility / indoor games room with table tennis, pool, and table football.

A small converted barn within the grounds offers low cost dormitory style accommodation for a further 27 people and is ideal for short term residential visits for school clubs and groups.
